The word of the year goes to, Stephen Colbert, for "Truthiness." To an online survey by dictionary publisher Merriam-Webster, "truthiness" was the most talked about word of the year. "Truthiness" was credited by Stephen Colbert from the show, "The Colbert Report." Stephen Colbert defined it as "truth that comes from the gut, not books."
